Renato Tavares is proud to announce his first annual Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Camp in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil in June 12th to 20th, 2010.

Participants will learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling in a safe, friendly, supportive and nurturing environment. It is open to all members of the Renato Tavares Association, from all over the world, regardless of academy, age or sex.

This camp sets itself apart from other bjj camps because of the infrastructure (accommodations, transportation, social, cultural activities and city tours). Our program is designed for those who to want improve their skills and experience a variety of training environments.

Participants are invited to come to Rio de Janeiro, the capital city of Martial Arts, to learn directly from the roots of the art. You’ll receive direct instruction from World Class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor Renato Tavares as well as have a chance to visit several World famous Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training camps around Rio.


Our crew is very excited to have you at the training camp, where besides attending the regular training sessions at some of the best schools in Brazil, you will also receive a special and exclusive class. It will be like getting a private lesson each day! Additionally, the camp will include several world class blackbelts to help push the level and ensure that all participants recieve the best training possible.

To ensure the quality of instruction, we limited the number of students to10 to 15 each camp!

Enjoy your holidays and bring your family to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There will be alternative activities for everyone including the kids. Rio is one of the best cities in the World for beach relaxation, hiking, and sightseeing tours so plan on bringing the whole family.
