We, as GRAPPLING X are always looking at ways to improve what we do, to give you the best possible unbiased results. With that being said, we have decided to implement newly set KIDS/TEENS Weight Classes beginning Apr 3rd, 2010 in. The age/weight classes allow us to completely maintain consistency without questions. Here is a look at how everything will run
KIDS/TEENS WEIGHT CLASSES – Every KID/TEEN has to weigh in the day of the event, if you do not weigh in the moring of you will be disqualified (Please see times on the actual event page as these times may vary per event.). To provide the closest match up’s possible every kid/teen 5-14 years old will have to weigh in the morning of the event. We will be matching the kids up by pre-set age, and weight divisions for there level (No-Gi) or belt (Gi). In the case of a kid not having a match up in his pre-set division they will receive at medal for that division. Then we will ask the Coach/ Parent if we can move the kid to the next weight class or age bracket.
