On Saturday & Sunday, May 29 & 30, 2010 NAGA brings its East Coast Grappling Championship to Springfield, Massachusetts. This tournament is open to all grappling styles, you do not need to be on a team or be a member of any organization to compete. This event is nationally RANKED!

MASSIVE VENUE = 7000 SEAT MASS MUTUAL CENTER
NAGA is going all out, renting the massive 7,000 Mass Mutual Center for 2 days of competition.

WE HAVE EXPANDED TO A TWO-DAY TOURNAMENT
Due to the large amount of competitors this NAGA tournament attracts, this event will be held over two days. All adults (both gi and no-gi) will compete on Saturday. All children and teens 17 yrs. & under (gi & no-gi) will compete on Sunday. The tremendous benefit of a 2-day event is that competitors do not have to wait numerous hours to compete.

100 CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS AWARDED
NAGA is the only grappling tournament in the world to award 100 CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS to all its Children, Teen, Adult, Masters, Directors and Executive Expert Division Winners.

SAMURAI SWORDS TO CHILDREN & TEEN WINNERS
NAGA will be awarding custom engraved SAMURAI SWORDS to all non-expert Kids & Teens 1st place winners! Octagon medals will be awarded to all non-expert Adult divisions winners.Adult competitors who place 1st and win gold medals will have the opportunity to obtain samurai swords at the NAGA Merchandise Booth for a nominal fee.

TEAM AWARDS
All 6 of our top teams (Adult Gi, No-Gi, and Children 17 yrs. & under) will receive a huge Championship Cup for their team.

NEW ADULT ABSOLUTE NO-GI DIVISIONS
Many NAGA No-gi competitors have asked us to allow them to compete in multiple skill levels in order to get more opportunities to roll the day of the competition. In order to facilitate their request we have added Novice, Beginner and Intermediate Absolute No-Gi Divisions. These No-Gi Divisions will begin once all the regular No-Gi divisions have ended so No-gi grapplers will not miss their second chance to compete. 1st through 3rd place winners take home octagon medals.

Caxcudo NO GI World cup

We at Caxcudo.com wish to extend an invitation to any students from all academies to join us for our first ever Caxcudo NO GI World cup. The Caxcudo World Cup will be held at Milford High School on March 21, 2010 at 31 West Fountain Street Milford, MA 01757-4098

Soon we will send more information and we will set up online registration at www.caxcudo.com.

First fight will begin at 10:00AM (novice) white belt up to 6 months, then (Beginner) white belt more than 6 months up to 2 years, (Intermediate) followed by blue/ purple, and finally (Advanced) brown and black. Absolute division will combine blue and purple belts, prize will be a 42” inch TV. The MALE white belt BEGINNER division with the most competitors in the bracket the champion in this specific division will get a Play Station 3 as a prize for being the best in his division.

If you do not follow the belt system in your academy please fallow the instruction below to register for the tournament.

Only online registration (No registration at the door) Registration will begin January 15 Close March 15 – we will not register anybody after March 15.

Kids 12 and under:

All Others:

•January 10 to February 20: $60.00
•February 21 to February 29: $70.00
•February 29 to March 7: $80.00
•March 8 to March 15: $90.00

Alvan, Gonzaga, and Funch No-Gi BJJ Seminar

On February in Fall River,Massachusetts one of the best MMA teams in the country,Team Link Brazilian Jiu Jitsu,will send the top fighters to run a seminar at the Clinch Mxed Martial Arts academy.

It will cover BJJ no gi techniques only and will be taught by Marco Alvan, Gabriel Gonzaga and Ricardo Funch.

We are expecting top fighters from New England as guests: Alexandre “vaca” Moreno(WFL champion), Karen Grigoryan(TUF 8 and EFI champion), Jon Manley(top 5 mma in New England) and others TBA.
